How is a one wire horn button hook up to work, I have a two wire horn button now and would like to install a new button but it is a one wire , I know on the two one of the wires is hot and one is ground. Is there a way to hook up the one and get it to work?

Perhaps when mounted on a metal surface, the switch is grounded.

See if you can get continuity between the pin on the switch, and the mount, with the button depressed.

Doc here, :pimp:

To properly hook up a Stock type horn button, the Button Center wiper is on a "Riding Ground" at the horn ring..The Horn button is a Brush type device that contacts a lower copper ring in the Column, when the horn is depressed..That ring has a black wire that goes to the horn relay GROUND of the Coil.

If you are using a two wire button, One wire goes to hard ground, the other goes to the horn relay Coil GROUND .. No power is run through the horn button.
