I've hit a point where I don't know what tti look for.
I have this 88 Lincoln Town car that i yanked the efi off of and put an edelbrock 1406 series performance carburetor on. Got it all installed on a 289 performance intake. I changed the throttle and kick down bracket, head gaskets, intake gaskets, etc. Every time I crank it(previous carb owner removed electric choke) it has to choke for 15-20 minutes, I get non precise acceleration and it dies once warmed and put into reverse. Im sure this has been talked about before, any ideas!?

What are you using for a fuel regulator? If I remember correctly that EFI system required somewhere around 38-42psi? Or has the pump been changed out to one compatible with a carb?
