Where can I get House of Kolor, color charts? I want to have an idea of what I want when I go to my dealer? He has one set , which he will not part with. The counter guy didn't know how I could get another set. Any help??

go to house of kolors sight and order it from them or you could order it from these folks. I think they have them. Just a warning, they arn't cheap!

I just bought one for my model car painting. Got the chart from the Slixx decal site and they sell all of the paints in 1oz jars. Chart costs about $45!!
You can order the charts from the same place that sells the House of Kolor paint. If the dealer you went to sells HoK paint then he can order the chart also. They are pricey though as the previous posts noted.
I DID ORDER THIER COLOR CHIPS ALL I CAN SAY IS WOW!! VERY NICE

I JUST DON'T THINK IT'S RIGHT TO CHARGE A GUY FOR COLOR CHIPS WHEN HE IS GOING TO BUY THE PAINT FROM YOU.

OH WELL WELCOME TO THE FREE ENTERPRISE SYSTEM

Isn't it fascinating how many DIFFERENT colors you can make with different bases under a given candy top coat?
I have a HOK chip book laying around my house somewhere if i can find it ill post and you can e-mail me your address and ill send it to you
Couple of newbie questions?

Do the Kandys in the 1oz jars from slixx need any special treatment like activator before spraying to a harley tank for flaming?

How does one mix activator, thinner if required for Kandy's in small amounts for use with an airbrush?

How is Kandy concentrate used? (What is difference from regular Kandy?)

Thanks
The mixing is still the same, just in an overall smaller volume and is printed on the back of the can.

The difference between the kandy and kandy concentrate is exactly what the name states, the kandy concentrate is a contrated version of the regular kandies. Its is used to reduce the numer of coats to match exsterior finishes or to cut spraying time. Its the same thing as a regular candy, just with more (concentrated) pigment. Great for bike sheet metal.
