I would like to convert my 7-pin module vacuum advance Delco Remy V6 distributor into a 4-pin so I don’t need a computer because I don’t have one. I have a brand new in plastic AC Delco 4-pin module I got for a trade that I would like to use.

4 pin module works like this right?
C – Coil -
B – Coil +
G – Pickup -
W – Pickup +
Base as ground

So can a just wire it like this or do I need to change some things.

The 4-pin module is for a 350V8, will it work with my 4.3V6?

you don't convert a 7-4 pin. get the HEI from a carb'd 4.3, it will be 4 pin. 7 pin has full ECU control and no advance, all locked out for computer

Doc here,

Go Here for the conversion , and kit..

Be advised, you will need the module to cap harness, and maybe the magnetic pickup as well (different years had different Ohmic Values) AND you may have phasing problems.

An earlier HEI (pre 80) or Aftermarket may be a cheaper option..
