Guys,

I'm rebuilding my front end on a 70 GTO and I want to change out the upper control arm bolts. They are splined bolts that appear to be pressed in. Since I'm replacing them, can I just wack on them till they come out? Thanks for your help.

What do the new ones look like? Do they have splines?

A hammer and a drift should pop them right out.

Yes the new ones are splined. OK I'll just hit them with my heavy hammer.
