This is the upper control arm from a 75 mustang ii. I can see these bushings were pressed in from the outsides over the shaft. Anyone know how to remove these bushings?

Normally I clamp them into a vice and then work the bushing out using an air chisel with a rather dull chisel end. You can do the same thing with a hammer and chisel just a little more work.
The factory lower control arm bushings are a bit more complicated as they usually have 2 small tack welds that you normally have to cut with a small cut off wheel before you drive them out.
On the bright side it looks like you got the hard part done......getting the rivets out to get the upper ball joint out
I need to do this to my original Pinto front end. I don't know why , just old and I think it will be a little quieter.
So, please keep adding questions and pics.
Whose kit are you useing or are you getting all at NAPA ?
