although i thought it was crazy, a guy i used to work with had a 350 at .100 over in a 68 nova, and drove it everyday to work, i wouldn't have done that though. going .060 over on most every engine is acceptable

how far can you bore a 350 chevy block without cooling issues
n the right 400sbc block you can so go 060 with out a sleeve
Huh?

As far as could be considered safe by sonic testing and 'acceptable' standards.
If the cooling system is up to snuff for the engine, why would there be any issues if overbored? I mean, operating temperature is operating temperature, so if a stock bore has cooling issues why would it not with an overbore? I don't know what you mean to ask, really.
