I'm looking to order a clutch slave cylinder for my mopar 383 w/ A-833 4 speed setup. Does anyone know what kind of throw I need in order to fully disengage the clutch? People keep recommending Wilwood's Pull type slave cylinder, but this only has a stroke of 1.38" (unless I'm mistaking the way that they draw their schematics: http://www.wilwood.com/Start/Products/006-MasterCylinders/011-SC/index.asp

I have a hyd clutch in my 59 Elky with parts sourced from an 86, and an 88
chev pu.

Manual trans with a mechanical clutch in my 66 Elky

Both of these cars have just over 1" travel at the end of the fork where the
rod seats.

Got an 82 Dodge D150------again---just over an inch of travel at the same point.
