How much horsepower can a stock fuel injection on a 1989 351w
Support. Its in a 1989 ford pickup truck and I was going to do a rebuild on maybe even stroke it to a 393 or 408. So I was wondering how far I can push the stock fuel injection.

Fuel pump and injector sizing are two limiting factors right off the bat. Next is going to be the firmware in the ECU. You can likely get alot more power, but you will have to make some changes. I am not at all familiar with the Ford EFI so you will have to give some details. I would, without knowing anything about it, still think that you will also have flow problems with the factory manifold that will need to be adressed.
