I think my carb is running ls running lean.Its an edelbrock performer 600cfm.My spark plugs are whiteish tan color.How do I richen up my carb?I see two adjustment screws on the front of the carb but not sure which is which.I also think my car is ideling alittle high.Motor is a sbc 350.Timing is set at 15* and 35*.After I make these adjustments do I need to retime it?Just learning...be gentle on me.Please walk me thru it step by step.This forum is the best!!!!!Thanks bm

plugs should look like coffee and cream. Adjusting a carb has much more to do with the jets and rods than the idle circuit screws.

Reading the plugs does not tell you how to tune the carb. When you let the car idle down before shut down, you are only reading the idle circuit.

Go buy a vacuum guage and set the mixture using it. Read up more on your carb and tune it up properly.
