Hello, I have a 200 malibu and i replaced the brakes, rotors, calipers and tires, now the car hums and virbrates so bad you have a head ache when you get home. A few things, i replaced tires and rims thinking it was a bent rim, did not fix it...also when i turn to the right the noise goes away. it is slightly out of alignment but tracks fine down the road. I also checked the wheel bearings and they have no play in them. I dont know what to check??!!

even though they are tight the races are gone.

do ya think both of them are gone? or possibly just one? i can just replace the bearings and not the whole hub as well?

If its front wheel drive the CV joints will do that when they go bad.

probably just the right front .. you say you turn right and the noise goes away..
your unloading the right front bearing. if you turn left and it stays the same or gets worse .. than it is the right front.
the chrome flakes off the the new sealed bearings and the beatthe races to death.'


could be an axle but the trick to it is the turning. axle will get louder in both directions. due to the turning

ok..thank you i`ll just have to try and look at it better to see what to replace first so im not just throwin money away.
