What do I need in suspension parts in order to have my truck hook up and GO!

I have a set of Lakewood slapper bars at the moment, but I am looking at a product by Calvert. The link is Here! My truck is a full sized Chev 1500 with around 375-400 hp, and I would like it to hook up & go instead of sitting there & frying the tires.

What are you guys using on your cars?

Do you have slicks or drag radials? Or are you running on street tires. A locker would be a good place to start.

The slappers and the Caltracs do basically the same thing, prevent axle/spring wind up and plant the tires. If you are trying to put the power down through one tire and/or through hard compound or skinny tires, neither will do much good.
A posi/limited slip/locker rear diff with somewhat wide softer compound tires and either the slapper bars or the Caltracs will do wonders. The Caltracs are far superior to the slappers though.
