I have a '63 Olds that some moron cut holes in the bumper for fake dual exhaust through the bumper. I need to fill these holes so they can be rechromed. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to do this? I was going to weld in a piece that matches to bumper but I want the chromer to be able to recrome them, will this work or is there a special metal or welding technique that needs to be observed??
