igot a mud truck and cant get it to run it just back fire trough the carb. no fire just air.i got the timing set i think,it is to spec.but no fire im pretty new to this.new carb it has been bench tested i had it firing but just not runnig without pumping gas but plug wires were not to proper specs i thought it was carb so got new one my dad change wires right wont fire at all just air back though carb

sounds like the timing is 180 out

Agree'd. Distributor must be 180 degrees out.
