my 2004 F-550 went into the dealership again today
the turbo and 4 injectors were replaced at 18,259
now today at 25,136. the turbo is whistling again
this is killing me!!!!! 6877 miles the same problem
The 6877 miles was driven in a course of 3 month
i think ford put that 6.0 turbo diesel in the truck
just to raise money from repairs

i think there looking at it this way truck $42,000
extra warranty $3000
deductible every time i go there $100.
they making money hand over fist
and the funnest thing the owner of the dealership
drives a BENZ!!!!!!!

Looks it that truck needs Fixed Or Repaired Daily.

Look into the lemon law, next time it happens they might owe you a brand new truck.

Why is your turbo failing? Do you use a turbo timer turbo timer that allows the the turbo to drop to a safe temp. before the motor shuts off?

no need for a timer or ford would have put one in
themself's. My truck idles for 10 min in the morning and
ten at the end of the day while i do paper work.
the same thing happened both times while driving
with a loaded trailer. the turbo is making boost and
it has the normal turbo whistle or whine.
then out of nowhere a louder then normal whistle
even though the turbo is in the back of the engine
where a chevy distrubator would be. you cant hear
it to good as it is nice and quite till it starts to whistle
