I've looked and looked to id these small block chevy heads the number doesn't exsist.but there it is plane as day casting #3888820 there not 920 or any other comb of numbers .anyone haveban idea.

Take a wee block of wood and some sandpaper to the tops of the numbers. 8, 6, and 9 are almost impossible to differentiate in an iron casting.
