GM15, M60, and 8927185 does any one know what these numbers mean. im lost

These are small valve, small port, large 74cc chamber smog heads.
They are designed to give the engine very high torque at low RPM
due to the small valve size.
However also, they run out of breath around 4000 RPM due to the same reason, the small valve size.
Is the track you ran on 1/8th mile or 1/4 mile?

all i seem to know about my motor is its bored .60 over, eldelbrock perfomer intake, holley 650 carb, pop up pistons, roller cam dont know the lift and no ac with 3.73 gears in the rear end. i would like to change the heads if it will give be better performance but would like it to still run on pump 93 gas. if anyone can point me in the right direction ill be happy. i have 1100 saved up for some heads if neccesary. man i wish my engine builder didnt moved :/

If you ran 11's in the 1/8th mile the car is slow,,, I think it's got more wrong with it than just the heads. I would get a set of RHS Vortec heads and a matching Vortec intake, then stab in cam, set of headers and get it tuned correctly and it'll drop your ET down to around the 8.50 mark.
Years ago on a close to stock 350 combo I ran a 9.00 flat with 3.23 gears in a Olds Cutlass.

i coulde be mistaken if its a 1/8 or 1/4 a mile. i just went to a place called dorchester dragway and ran the car just for the hell of it. i have flowtech headers on now.the cars seems quick to me. but now im starting to think otherwise kind of getting dissapointed in all the money i spent lol

talked with a friend of mine and he said the motor is fine but i should change the heads. he said my times was bad because i have traction issues and need a posi carrier with the 3.73 gears. so i think that and some good tires are my next investment. also i wanna try some after market heads. so it looks like this summer imma be back at breaking the piggy bank
