I am very honored to have you join this group. Thank you so much for what you are doing for liberty - you are up there with the great people in history.

As far as your question is concerned, you should re-post it in the Engine forum. This forum is for general introductions so tech questions don't get the coverage they deserve.

Probably need the specifics of the parts - cam timing, compression, etc., to make an informed opinion. Chevy 2-bolt bottom ends handle 400hp without raising a sweat. If your combo goes over that, you can get 4-bolt mains that need new bolt holes drilled in the bearing webs and a new aligned bore job. If you are really serious, sell your current blocks and find factory 4-bolt main blocks - usually found in truck engines.

Thanks for keeping our country safe.

I have a friend in the Marines. He did a lot of his car research overseas. You can get books etc. to learn more. Going online helps a lot too.

If I were you I would come up with a solid plan for what you are going to build. Ask as many questions as you can. That way you can get a general concensus on what will work the best.

Once you have a plan you can start figuring out which parts to get.
