Okay, here is a really embarrasing question. I just bought a 31 A coupe.The front windshield is cracked and I need to get a replacement. This should be easy, if I just taje off the frame and take the whole thing to the glass shop-BUT
how does the frame come off? I can see the swing arms and wing nut, but there is obviously some sort of hing at the top, under the visor.Any help will be greatfully accepted. There will be a lot more questions, too.

It's easy but not..... After disconnecting the swing arms you should be able to tip the windshield frame up and out and slide it off the hinge. The A hinge is just a curl on the body mating with a curl on the frame.
