im installing a turbo kit on my mustang's 302. its a carbed motor with a mechanical fuel-pump. my question is what would i need to do so the fuel-pump gives the proper amount of fuel now that it will be getting a turbo...or will the fuel pump supply the proper fuel amount on its own like its done without the turbo?

Actually a bonnet will work fine with a mechanical secondary carb.

The fuel pump can be boost referenced with some hack work, but a high pressure electric pump with boost reference regulator is by far the best way to go. Set the base pressure and allow pressure to rise with boost.

You also need to install nitrophyl floats or fill your existing floats with foam. And, I would not even think of boost with anything other than a Holley.
