Anyone know the instructions for instaling a Model a x-member into a set of deuce rails? I gotta believe there is an angle to set it at to get the right geometery set-up for the frame. Anyone have experience or knowledge please fill me in. Thanks!!

I like to set the frame at approximate ride height. Then square the crossmember to the frame. I then set the Model A crossmember to 5 to 7 degrees rake.......front to rear.

That way, when I set the axle at the same setting..........there is no spring bind.

I also make the wheelbase a little longer. Mine is 106 and 1/2 or 3/4 . I do that so the rear wheels fit the fenders better. My rear crossmember is further back than stock. At the stock location...........the rear wheels are too close to the running boards and look funky IMHO.
