what kind of intake do they to fit the vortec heads an if so who make's it

I believe Edelbrock and Holley both make manifolds that fit Vortec heads.

You can also have your Vortec heads redrilled by a machinist, so that the old style intakes will fit. This might actually be more cost effective, as the vortec intake manifolds are fairly pricey.

I don't recommend drilling the Vortec heads for the older manifolds. There isn't enough metal in the manifold mounting face to get more than a few threads for the bolt.

Professional Products make four different intakes for vortec head at reasonable prices...don't know how good they are though. If you search in forums for vortec intake you will see other threads on this subject. Check on e-bay and you will see quite a few pp intakes at dirt cheap(made in China)prices.
