I'm Larry Murphrey, age 54 from Wichita Falls, TX. To put beans on the table I'm a golf teaching professional. I'm doing my first restoration to a 1955 1st series chevy 1/2 ton truck. So far I'm leaving in the original 235 inline 6 cyl engine, but in the process of splitting the exhaust for dual exhaust, sound and hopefully a little more horsepower. I trying to keep this engine and get enough power to cruise at easily at 70 mph and have a/c. I dont know if this is possible, but I'm truly enjoying restoring this truck. Any suggestions will be welcomed. If any of you are in Wichita Falls, call me, I'm the only Murphrey in the phone book and we'll play some golf or I'll put you to work on my truck.
