I'm looking at a 1946 (might be a 1947) Bentley 4-Door sedan, I'm not 100% sure of exactly what the model is. It normally wouldn't be a big deal, but the price differences between each model can be quite substantial, so I don't want to end up paying more than the car is worth.

I found out that 1947 Bentley 4-Door sedans came in the following models:

-H.J. Mulliner
-Hooper
-James Young
-Park Ward
-Saloon

I'm pretty sure it's a Saloon, but there is a good chance that I could be wrong.

So, are there any major differences body-wise that could help me distinguish what model the car is?

Also, here are some pictures in case anyone can help me figure this out by looking at it.

Thanks!!

1946 was the first year of the Saloon, which you have here. The other models you list were Coach-built and easily identified not only by the type of body style, they also have the Coachbuilders plaque attached.

I see this particular car is advertised, (or at least was) by Classic Investments in Amarillo TX, and you live in Canada, which seems a long way to go to view a non-runner.
