Ok guys, I have this problem with my 69 ford f250, 360 FE. That every once and a while it will not start, it will just crank over until you pump the gas lots of times. I have verified spark when this occurs, so it is narrowed down to the fuel pump or the carburetor. I'd like to start by testing the fuel pump because it's easier to change, lol. But I'm not sure how to test it. If anyone knows I would be grateful or has any other input to this. Thanks.

get some extra fuel line, attach it to the pump outlet, aim it at something NON FLAMMABLE or put it in a plastic pop bottle, JUST MAKE SURE NO SPARK CAN GET TO IT, and crank her over a few times, if it's good, it'll pump like a bloody spurting vein.
