The code on the back, by the distributer is J108 the one under the head is 016870 I think that it is a 428, but i would like to know for sure, if you can give me ANY information on this engine please post it THANKS

jordan, how many threads are you going to start on this same subject. In one of those threads, I told you that you needed th date code of the block, which you have (Oct 10, 68), and the block code, not the sequential number of the block.

Well, jordan, we are all waiting for that two letter code (at least I am). It will be somewhere near the 016870 sequential number. Lets get this thing straightened out so you'll know what you have.
