good heads may be a bit small though depending. i picked up a set of dart pro 1 aluminum heads for around 1200. with 200 cc runners and 64cc chambers to keep the compression up. i like them i have lots of low end (well where the stall starts) and they flow all the way to 7000 if i want to wind her up.

Something to think about; for around $150 cheaper, you could get a set of Vortec heads that would probably outperform the darts in that application. You would have to get a Vortec style intake manifold, and valve covers, but if you are going to buy those parts anyway, that is not an issue.

look at this website, several heads were flowed under the exact same tolerances, and the dart 180s and vortecs have almost the same runners size. You can compare the "stock production vortec head" to the "dart iron eagle 180".
