I've got a friend whose car keeps on burning the brake light fuse over and over. I used to know what this problem was, but it slipped my mind, which isn't unusual. Some jogging would be appreciated.

Fuses

Doc here :pimp:

Try, pulling your Lenses and Bulbs on the brake lights, Inspect foe Corrosion, Debris And Rust in the Sockets..Be sure you have the right Bulbs in the Sockets.

If you have a Trailer light harness, inspect to see that it is hooked up right, and not crushed under the car somewhere. These are major causes of blown fuses!

Inspect your harness going forward and insure it is not shorted on something or Cut or crushed.

Check the Brake light switch for anything that might be shorting on it during pedal travel.

Also check the harness and plugs as it goes through the Steering Column for cuts and abrasions.

Hope it helps!
