Would anyone be able to help me find info on setting up and or tuning leaf spring susp for street preformance..I am involved in a new project with a ford ranger with a sbc in it.It still has the 4cyl. susp in it but a 8.8 rear I would like to try all the old schoo trick before moving out to up to date methods..Thanks Ben.

Have you driven it yet?....It may get tons of traction the way it is......Doubt it though. Pickups are generally light in the back. A good set of "Slapper" traction bars are the old way of doing it. There are newer "Caltrack" bars that you can get.

Some big tires with soft rubber will help also. You can also experiment with lowering the air pressure in the rear tires.

ok

I've heard about adding a extra leafto the pass side and or moving the pinion angle 4 degrees neg. Also adjustable shocks are in the works.
