i just finished the 56 big window and have been road testing it. the floor is mildly warm with no interior. i used the sound control and heat control. once it drys it is waterproof and can be topcoated. i dont believe you can do this with latex paint as it will breakdown with moisture .
The use of a proper exterior latex as a binder for the micro spheres will result in a waterproof coating once it cures, and can be topcoated with anything you wish. Before cure it will also clean up with water, same as Lizard Skin which is water based (latex).
