if it's an olds you willbe talking to mondello, they have parts you need .
second how much power are you wanting?
how much money do you have to spend?

you will want to start by reworking the oiling system, use a crank out of a deisel as there steel,a 350 deisel block is nice but you already have a block, some #5 heads unless you can afford batten heads, stay away from the EDELEBROKE lol junk there kits are ok but there are athers that make better parts.if you use batten heads make sure you get the ones with water passages and you will need to use there intake.
my buddy runs a mid 80's gutless lol with a 406 olds blown alky. and runs 8.06 in the 1/4 mile. :p
blown alky. for thought
