Give me some direction on purchasing a new gun. I have [email protected] This will be a sealer gun with a 1.6 nozzle. The Binks M1-G that I'm considering requires [email protected] Any thoughts?

Sounds almost like a little overkill for a sealer gun. I'm confident you would be very happy with it and it would do a very good job. If you budget is tight, the Sharpe FineX uses slightly less than 10 CFM for under a hundred dollars.
But, nobody was ever unhappy because the bought high quality tools.
