Hi all, looking to drop the front end on the Mustang about and inch. so I'm looking for recommendations that will work with my KYB shocks. Also have any of you tried the Prothane top shock isolaters? Also I'm going to be replacing the perches but do I need a different type other than the stock ones if I'm dropping the front end?

Your shocks will work with any amount of drop. They are linear the entire length of travel. Just remember that 1" difference in spring is 2" in ride. The stock lower perch mount will be fine as well.

A common modification that Shelby used was mounting the inner upper control arm 1" lower. Draw a line through the center of the current mounting holes both horizontal and vertical, drop down 1" and drill new holes. Then get 68 Torino wagon with air front springs, cut one full turn off and install. This mod was used to give better camber control when the suspension compressed during heavy cornering.
