I was needing a little help on swapping a lt1 into a 1956 chevy.
I have a lt1 engine, trans, wiring harness, and computer. I know there are numerous companies that make new harnesses, but I need to know how to wire that part of the harness into the rest of the car.

I did a similair swap and kept the engine harness seperate from the rest of the car. From my experience the only part of the harness that the computer wants to be wired into is the brake lights.
