getting a 79 ltd two door. Car already has a 302 in it. how hard will it be to put a big block in there? does anybody make swap mounts? thanks. also is there someone who makes header, and suspension stuff for these cars? you know, stuff that's usually vehicle specific. thanks guys.

Transadapters is a good spot to start they have a kit ot do what you want. good luck and keep it clean it pay's off in the long run.

79 Big block

Ford did do some factory installs of big blocks in those days so you should be able to find motor mounts and such that fit the car..try looking for parts from similar chassis..

This is a straight up engine R&R if you find the right pieces..I am seeing these types of cars in the local shows now and they are nicely done and very clean..doesn't take a lot to have a nice looking good performing car

You may wish to look into some police springs and swaybars to help the handling as this is a nice touch on one of these..

Thsi one is mostly some sweat to get done..Good luck..
