Made inner panels, plus an aluminum cover over the fuel tank and battery.

First I made brackets for the roof (green arrows) and fastening points for the panel (red arrows). The blue arrow points at the remote opener for the trunk.

I decided to make the rear panels from 3mm aluminum, since I have the fuel tank right behind my back:

Made a winged Ford logo from a Ford grille emblem and a 32 headlight bar V8 ornament.

Made a pattern from a damping mat:

Completed with a velcro fastened top on the rear panel that covers the fastening bolts:

As always, that is beautiful, ingenious, and incredibly creative. Very nice work. You are going to have a one of a kind interior and the pride of knowing you engineered and built the whole thing by yourself. Congratulations!

You have probably noticed the connection app 2/3 down on the panels? I hadn't enough big leather sheets left, and instead of buying more, I decided to make a connection. Not visible with the seat backs in place, but a short cut solution, of course.
Next is to make a cover around the gear stick and emergency brake. And a cover in front of the wires below the dash on the passenger side.

Also I would like to dye the seats, but it's too cold in my garage to do that now. Have to wait until the summer.

Then the interior is pretty much completed, and I will consentrate on the engine again. Adjusting the ignition and the carburetor is first.

Yes, I noticed, but it's a perfectly acceptable way to do it. Why waste a huge piece when it hardly ever will show?
