We are going to try to change the manifold on our '85 Camino due the EMS is keeping it from starting and we just don't have the time, energy, or inclination to trace it out. The manifold is a new Edelbrock 350 manifold and we just want to make sure that it will fit and the ports will line up.

are you asking if the edelbrock intake will fit?if so the 305-350 will accept that intake just fine,make sure you spend the money to get the intake that has provisions for e.g.r.factory equipment.not sur what an ems is please explain better......

If your going to a carb as your post suggests, you`ll need a older HEI with mechanical and vacuum advance, the computer HEI has no advance period since it`s advance is controlled by the ECM. Without advance it`ll have no power, sluggish throttle response and run hot enough to crack heads. Been there, seen that.
