Im finally on setting up the brakes and need some suggestions/recommendations.
The car has a 120 inch wheel base, Mustang 2 front end with 11 inch disk brakes. Rear is a 8 inch Ford with drum brakes. The car weighs in at 3,260 lbs.
I would like to stay with power brakes. The booster & master cylinder will be mounted on the firewall.
I went to Auto Zone and checked on a 1980 Ford Granada
booster and cylinder for $123.00.....
The after market has single diaphragm, dual diaphragm, 7 inch booster, 8 inch booster, etc...Upwards to $ 350.00
Suggestions and recommendations would greatly be appreciated.

Personally I would go with a GM dual master cylinder and an 8" booster. You can buy the setup from various places like Speedway, Yogis, and Parr Automotive. The GM Corvette type dual master cylinder has the capacity to handle whay you want to do and they are plentiful should you need to replace it sometime down the road.

go to a wrecking yard and get something along the line of 1987 and up fox mustang they have a 8 inch booster and a master cylinder set up for disc fronts and rear drums.

try to get the proportioning valve

On my last 2 cars, I have used a pontiac Fiero booster/master cylinders. They work great and very versatile. They are easy to pull in a junk yard as the 4 nuts that hold it are on the same side. I used this in my datsun and now in my samurai. Also these are one the few boosters that mount is vertical, alot of the GM had something like a 45 degree angle that would make mounting less desirable. I bought mine in a junk yard for 15$ and the proportion valve is connected to it. The booster is pretty large so they work well with modified motors.
