as long as the bellhousing is chevy bolt pattern. ZZ4 block is a great starting place.
check into making sure you have a manual crankshaft,some crankshafts have no provision for the input shaft.
4 stud mains, with arp fasteners,is the way to go. dont forget to arp the rod bolts too. that should be tuff enough for any street driving. safe @ 450-550w/N2o fly hp and 6500rpm, which is what a hydraulic lifter pushrod engine should be ending at anyways. dont LOL
