Inland Empire Driveline has a measuring guide, which I think is similar to what other driveline shops use. Note that they have a page for 2-pc driveshafts as well.39chevy said:I am going to have to get my driveshaft cut to fit! It will be already hooked to my rear end and the yoke to my 350 trans will be in the trans, HOW much slack do I need so it is right when I add to my driveline? Thanks, Dana
Right on the money, thats how I measured for mine!! BrianChazmac said:Bottom slip yoke in trans then pull it out 1".
Measure from the center of the front ujoint to the center of the rear ujoint.
Use that dimension to have driveshaft made.
