Hi all,
I'm installing cadillac sts seats in a bus with a flat floor. The seats have one downward bolt plate and hooks on the front (which would slide into anchor points).
Can anyone recommend a way to safely convert the base to have 4 downward bolt plates? How would you do it?

What I do is cut off the offending parts and fabricate a new base to suit. Most late model seats have a base that fits the floor pan of the car they came out of so when putting them in a rod makes it needed to fab a new base to fit where we are going to install them.

Think chair legs on your seat may be a way to look at it.
