is there a standard oil pan height [groung clearance] for a T bucket style car . my project is a home built frame and all.

Building your own EH! well I think that for myself I would set the bottom of the oil pan flush with the frame rails or a bit above..

As far as any std height..I do not think there is one just some sense in getting it high enough so the oil pan does not scrape the ground..<<Grinn>>


Out here we do have a rule that on street cars no part of the body or chassis shall extend below a line drawn from the bottom of the wheel rims from one end of the car to another...Actually it does make some sense

mine sits at the same height as the lowest point on my front axle. This point is about 2 inches higher than the bottom of the wheel rim
