I'm looking for a rack to suit right hand drive in front of the cross member has anyone found a solution for this thanks in advance

Check with Flaming River. I was just looking on their website earlier today and they offer right hand drive racks in their custom line. I wasn't particularly interested in a right hand rack. It just caught my eye. You might want to give them a call.

Thanks alternatively if I can reverse the arms and put the calipers out front and steer from the rear of the cross member the rack I have works I'm just not sure if that affects the ackerman geometry

If you want to reverse the arms, look into Wilwood Pro Spindles. The are Mustang II replacements that have bolt on arms. They are supposed to work for rear steer, too.

The ones that came with it appear to be reversible bolt on so it's really easy to reverse as long as geometry is correct

The Akerman Principle ( the geometry ) will be way out as you can see in this picture. If you put the rack behind you will need new steering arms. If you want front steer you can get a rear steer rack , flip it over and mount it in the front.

You can use a Dodge Omni/Horizon rack flipped upside down and install it in front of the spindles for right hand drive. The Mustang tie rod ends fit fine. You do have to fabricate mounting brackets.
