thats because tops are not for the amature. it is a learned trade, unless you have a lot of time and patience, and lots of hot rodder ingenuity you are best to take it to a trim shop that can do it right there is nothing that spoils a cars appearance more than an improper top job. plus you can ruin your paint, and break your glass or ruin the top parts. i did trim work for many years and tops aren't something for the inexperienced.
