My Grandson was featured on Powerblock TV!

Was anyone watching Powerblock, Muscle Car this weekend (6/6/2009)? Courtney did a commercial break segment showing pictures of Troy's '59 Elky and gave a little narrative on him being 14 and a new generation hot rodder. Pretty exciting. Only problem with the segment she identified the car as a '57 as did the caption under the pictures and as everyone knows, the '59 is the first year Elkys were made.

Damn
Wish I saw it, but I had other obligations that day.
You record it????-----if so, send me a copy
I got it on the TIVO thingie that my cable service supplies. It's on there for 14 days. Need to get my son over here to show me how to get it off there and into my computer as an MP3. Did I ever tell you I hate computers? Oh and another couple things to add to my need list;

top (metal) edges of the door panels?

One fresh air grille?

Still need the brake drum & "V".
Congrats to the young up and coming hotrodder.

You probably meant MPEG, MP3 is music, I would imagine there is something in the book that came with the unit covering it, I have no idea don't have that kind of technology in the house as of yet.
I SAW THAT AND THOUGHT OF YOU! I saw the picks and heard her talking about it and I knew that had to be you and Troy! Very cool, bet he liked it!
Thanx Gator, at least someone saw it! Troy was stoked but his mother was sky high. They were gone all WE and we surprised them w/ the video when they got back. Could be that I have played practical jokes on her for 35 years (age 7 - "Run around the house twice and when your are done there will be two little calves following you") and she doesn't trust me as far as she can throw me!

I remember it now that you mention the 57 comment. I told my wife they need to figure out the years they made the cars before they open mouth and insert foot. Cool that he got some press I hope you were recording it. I had a friend on Pinks and another on the John Force show, I recorded both.
I saw the bit and thought there surely couldn't be two stories just like this, so it had to be you. Was thinking about dropping them an e-mail about the 57 / 59 thing. Anyway, congrats on being featured.
They leave the ads and transition bits with Courtney off those on-line videos. We have it on TIVO and my son says he can get it onto a DVD for me.
Put it on youtube so we can all see it! :thumbup:
