I carefully packed, sorted and numbered all my pieces when removing all the parts on my 1946 Ford. After 10 years of welding, replacing parts, blasting, painting, etc. I have lost my directions on how I removed the door window glass. Forget memory, sometimes I forget what I had for breakfast let alone 10 years ago. I have replaced the front and rear felt channels and the split felt trim holding the glass. Purchased the glass install kit from Early Ford. I forget the order to install the glass. Could anyone out there give me some help on what item goes in first, second, etc. The hand crank assembly, vent wing channel, glass, there also is a window channel at the bottom of the window, does the pointed end of that channel go toward the rear or the front of the car. Help would much be appreciated. Thanks again Joe

Try the Early Ford V-8 Club Forums, 32 to 48 cars and trucks, ford experts hang out there. Some of the guys get pushed out of shape if you mention installing anything other than vintage speed parts and accessories.
