The dwell at coil should be 26 degree at cranking speed and 29 degrees at idle. point gap on high step of dist, cam will be around .016 maybe .017. The positive side of the coil should see 12v during crank. Hope this helps. Cole

so the point gap is 0.016 are 0.017 of a gap and that with the feller gauge,. and the dwell should be 26 to 29

Yea the points are really supossed to be at .25 per the manual just seems alittle wide to me but it will work at .25. So do the .25 first see how it does there. Cole
