Help!!! Cant find my book, need to adjust my neighbors 77 Chevy p/u, auto on the column. As I recall,the adjustment involved the use of a drill bit, similar to a Hurst adjustment. Any one out there know what I'm talking about?

No I dont....I just loosen the 2 screws and move it until it works in "D" and "N".

there is a hole in it that you can stick a small bit or rod or whatever in, i would think you first loosen the switch up and put it in park or neutral most likely, and move the switch around until the rod or bit goes in the hole and then tighten up the screws
