Planning on building this 427 for my 79 firebird. Next ill be looking at cranks, cams, and pistons, aiming for 500-600 horse. Going to try and find some chrome valve covers that say 427 on them as well as chrome air filter cover with 427 on top of it, K&N inside of corse.

i know thats alot of carb for the motor and a 850 cfm would probly work but they blue print it for your engine b4 you get it so thats why.

The motor looks good, but if you are serious about spending this kind of money, I would go with a set of street or even Comp package AFR 220cc heads. You will get ALOT better performance out of them than a set of Motowns with CNC chambers, and the street ported AFR heads are $200 cheaper. The Comp package AFR 220s are only $400 more. Also, your carb is too big. A 950 would work much better. I know you said they build them for your application, but I am pretty sure that is assuming that your combonation needs a 1050.

3700 for the block... before shipping (easily another 200)
strokerkits.com: 434 (or 427 without bore) kit is 1500 bucks for the rotating assmbly.
Your heads are 900 dollars... each.
1 each carburetor, 1000 dollars
1 intake, 270 dollars
Nothing but the best valve train including girdles, solid roller cam, pushrods, guideplates, fancy roller rockers, tall valve covers, roller chain, button, aluminum cover, figure about 1500 bucks. Easy.
Better get some headers for it too! Hooker supercomps should only set you back for the 1 7/8 coated set, about 6-700 dollars. What a steal!
Ignition to fire this thing off is going to be key. Better plan on spending about 5-700 dollars between wires, control box, distributor and coil.
High-flow fan, pump and rado should probably only be another 5-700
Gaskets and goop, misc stuff, about another 2-300 (you'd be surprized...)
Oil pump, pan, shaft: 3-500 dollars
Flexplate and bolt kit for the motor, 200 bux, at least.

I guess since you have this motor, you'll want to put it in something! Well a trans rated to the about of horse you need should only be about 2 grand.

You'll then need a shaft you can't snap, figure at least 500 bucks on that.

Then you'll need one of those nice ford 9" rears. They make them custom for most cars for about 2500 bucks.

You'll also need subframe connectors and traction bars more than likely. Might be another 1000.

Will you be needing anything else today sir? That will be $19,070. Would you like a car to go with that drivetrain? It will be extra.
Will that be cash, check, or credit?
