Hi Everyone,

I picked up a 111W155 a few weeks ago and I'm working on getting use to it. I absolutely love it with one exception, I'm having a tough time with my thread bunching up underneath the material and also in the bobbin area.

It all started when I found out I had my maching threaded incorrectly. Once I corrected it, I starting having these issues. So I figured that it was my tension that was messed up. Well if I loosen my tension on my upper thread, the hook doesn't seem to grab it, and if I tighten my upper thread, the thread breaks. I don't recall a time where I was so upset with a machine cause I didn't know what to do. I decided to replace my bobbin case as some people have had luck with that but that didn't change anything. I'm starting to question the possibility that my hook is slightly out of time. I read up on how to time it and was curious as to what people used for measuring the needle position and hook position (1/16 and 3/16" dimensions)

I'll work on uploading a picture later today, thanks guys!

Well after finding a troubleshooting guide, I'm pretty certain that my timing for my hook and needlebar isn't set correctly. I did find a manual from the navy and when I was reading up on how to time the hook, it doesn't show the picture to tell me what is what. (it mentions to look at figure 4.6 and 4.6 doesn't exist!)

sooooo........That's where I'm at so far. If anyone has any extra input, please feel free to add it. I will see what I come up with today. Thanks!
